We found this article in The Guardian that we found both informative and balanced about a day in the life of an HGV driver – Rob Piper has been an HGV driver for many years and gives a fascinating insight into the pros and cons of being a lorry driver. This also covers how hauliers were hero worshipped in the height of the Covid pandemic, but things have returned largely to normal since.
